| When: | Monthly on Thursday afternoons 2:00 pm-4:00 pm 1st Thursday of the month. All year. |
| Venue: | St Edmunds Hall |
We meet on the first Thursday afternoon of each month to share our thoughts and opinions of a chosen book. As you might imagine, it is a rare if not unheard of occurrence that these opinions are unanimous and it is often that very fact that makes for an interesting and enjoyable discussion.

We arrive at our selected reading list by each submitting a suggestion (no restrictions) and taking a vote. Our reading list for September through to February 2027 is as below:
| Date | Title | Author |
|---|---|---|
| 03 Sep | Fourteen Days(short stories) | Margaret Atwood (Edited by) |
| 01 Oct | Once the Deed is Done | Rachel Seiffert |
| tbc | A Killing in November | Simon Mason |
| tbc | Ghost Wall | Sarah Moss |
| tbc | The Sicilian Inheritance | Jo Piazza |
| tbc | The Garden of Evening Mists | Twan Eng Tan |
Members are responsible for obtaining their own copies of the texts.
Each session is introduced by a member of the group although this is not forced upon anyone not wishing to do so. There is opportunity for everyone to have their say.
The ideal size of the group for a lively discussion is around 12. With 18 members we are already over subscribed so I am not accepting names for a waiting list.
