Wednesday 22nd July 2026. Croscombe.

The walk will start from the Village Hall car park, Croscombe BA5 3RJ. We will walk up through Ham Woods, through the railway tunnel and across the viaduct and return by part of the East Mendip Way. The walk will be between 4 and 5 miles. We will then wander down to the George Inn (5 minutes walk) for refreshments and food. The George Inn itself does not have adequate parking. We however have permission to park in the Village Hall car park, with a request to put a small amount of money for each car in their donation box. You may find on-street parking next to the hall. I know the George do very nice food. Looking forward to seeing you then.
