The French Conversation group has about 12 members and is informal and friendly. Everyone gets a chance to speak, and topics might be recent holidays, outings, gardening, hobbies etc.
After refreshments we listen to a magazine article in French, and then read and translate it together. The magazines are available to borrow.
Members are not expected to speak perfect French, but a certain degree of fluency is necessary. Dictionaries are very useful!
